Tine Knisell

Tine Knisell started with Line dance in October 1993. Once she started she couldn’t stop anymore.

In May 1995 she started teaching her first dance group.

At the same year she met her husband Jim.

He always supported Tine with her hobby even when her son Shawn was born 1996.

In summer of 1996 she visited her first UCWDC championship and was amazed what you can do with Line dance.

Her biggest goal was to find the right dance technique.

In 1997 Tine started to be a member of the German Country and Western dance federation. With participating in a lot of workshops Tine could give her knowledge to all of her students. Since 1996 her students competed in several national and international championships with lot of success.

In 1999 Tine and some friends started the club Renegades Line dance just for fun.

As the instructor Tine gained a lot of titles. Her biggest achievements were 1st place at the German Championship from 2002 – 2007. The team also won several titles at the Masters in Line and the UCWDC championships. Tine has been writing all of the Renegades dance choreographies.

In March 2006 Tine successfully completed her trainer C certification course in Country and Western Dance as to the German Olympic Sports Association.

She successfully completed her judge certification course in 2011.

Tine’s passion besides Line dance is music. She also loves being a DJ.
